BBC Children in Need Funding

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded BBC Children in Need funding for the second year. This funding pays for 12 hours per week of dedicated 1-1 support for brain injured children and young people. This unique service provides Occupational Therapist led Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy that supports children and young people who are struggling with memory, attention, slowed processing, coordination and perception difficulties along with other essential therapy support. We take a child through a detailed assessment process that forms the basis of the therapy plan that is tailored to their individual needs. This funding enables us to support these children to have better long term outcomes and improved life chances and forms an essential part of a child’s ongoing recovery. We are the only children’s charity nationally offering this specialist support FREE of charge to brain injured children and young people.
