One of the key things we agreed at the outset as an organisation was NOT to signpost you to other organisations. Our Founder once found herself in a sign-posting loop, and at one point spoke to 33 people from 13 different organisations – and got nowhere because those individuals simply did not want to take on any responsibility for solving the problem.

We believe sign-posting simply drops the problem back onto you – when you are already under a significant amount of stress. So if you come to us for help – then we will help you. We think the frustration, disappointment and anger Jan felt at that time was unnecessary. So we see it as our role to help you solve your problems so that you can concentrate on providing the right help and support to your child.

We will therefore undertake the service navigation work for you and find the information you need. We will then ensure we send the people you need to see directly to you. This removes any added pressure on you and should enable you to receive the right additional help and support that you need, both appropriately and quickly.
