Matrix Neurological is delighted to announce we have been successful in securing funding from the South Tees Clinical Commissioning Group from their Community Innovation Fund. This funding will enable us to recruit a family support worker who will provide advocacy and support to parent carers of children living with a brain injury. They will work closely with parents in hospital to offer help and support during the discharge process and continue to support them once their child is back at home. There will also be practical help and support through our volunteer scheme where our volunteers will offer a befriending service and a listening ear as well as offer practical support.
